Notre Dame suspends men's swimming team for at least 1 year over internal gambling violations. In High School we played a lot of poker and our very christian coach hated it.
The team created its own sports book to wager on its swimming performances along with other sports, and that a majority of the returning team for the 2024-25 season was believed to have placed bets.
Honestly, that’s pretty cool.
